Lolo Jones coming into the 2012 London Olympics, many fans expected huge success in the track and field star's best Olympic event, the 100-meter hurdles. With a time of 12.58 seconds, Jones settled for fourth place and no medal. Fellow Americans Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells came in second and third, giving the U.S. a pair of medals despite Jones' struggles. Jones felt heartbreak in 2008 when she lost the chance at a medal by clipping the second-to-last hurdle at the Beijing Olympics, and surely the mainstream star has felt that same pain once again. This time, though, she may not bounce back.At 30 years old, there aren't many experts who believe Jones has the chance to come back for the 2016 Olympics; not many 34-year-olds win medals in the 100-meter hurdles. While her lack of Olympic success will undoubtedly hurt her long-term legacy, her prowess in domestic events still makes her one of the greatest American hurdlers of all time.

being a big mouth will never win an olympic medal.

Being a virgin doesn't help you to win a medal. She is just a media hype.

Her teamates are not assholes they just wanted their success of winning the silver & bronze metals for USA respected and shown some attention by the media. LoLo is a great olympian however she did not win and because she was the favorite of team USA the press would rather look for drama in that failed situation knowing she would break down.

Lolo didn't have to post what she did about Rachel Jeantel on twitter. Lolo complains her teammates were mean, then months later tries to joke about a woman who was sad about the unnecessary death of her friend and who was forced to be a trial witness. In case you didn't know I'm talking about Trayvon Martin, she was the last person he spoke to before getting killed.

I knew that Lolo would have an interview this morning following her event...I was HOPING..she would not blame others..the media...for her disappointing 4th place finish. But...she got emotional AGAIN.....she just can't seem to get it together...I feel for her..I do..and she is a great athlete... BUT.she invited all of us into her personal...life...and she needs to realize..she needs to stop blaming others for her fails.

Yeah well they dont have to insult an american teammate to the world like the way they did, and if there that proud that they are only second and third in the world than why train anymore, thats why they did not win the gold medal

  • 537VIK

The lack of Olympic success will harm her image, but she seems like a nice enough person.
